NOTE! Mondays are the exchange days for visiting chefs, and we have limited possibility to cook food on Mondays. Therefore we only take hotels guests for dinner on Mondays.

Visiting summer chefs 2024

Erno Kemi: Tuesday 27th to Saturday 31st of August

We are happy to announce that our last guest chef of the summer will be the beloved and skilled Erno Kemi! 

 

Erno has gathered incredible experience from top restaurants in Helsinki such as Demo, Ragu, Chef & Sommelier, Ora, and Kuurna. Currently, he leads the kitchen at Hotel U14’s restaurant Version, where his dishes are infused with the warmth of California – so we eagerly await what he has in store for us! 

 

Erno has been our guest summer chef in previous summers, and he has always been a favourite among our guests. His talent for combining delicious ingredients and creating unforgettable culinary experiences is unparalleled.

Local products

In our restaurant you’ll enjoy of food, that has a story and is created by talented chefs. We know our food producers and many of them are local. For our food we only choose ingredients that we think are good enough for our guests. Everything is made from beginning to end in our kitchen.

Local potatoes

Straight from the field. The potatoes you eat in our restaurant are grown by Niklas in Houtskär. Tasty, fresh potatoes, you can tell the difference!

Local meat

We only choose that best quality meat for the food we serve. Beef comes mostly from Honkola Manor i Urjala and lamb from Björkö village in Houtskär.

Local fish

Fish from Finland, of course! Most of our fish comes from Finland and we buy it partly from a local fish farm, partly from different retailers.

Opening hours 2024

  • Restaurant:
    • Breakfast from 8.30 to 10 am. Book in advance if not staying at the hotel.
    • Lunch from 11.30 am to 2 pm (June 25 to July 28). Book if you’re more then 8 people.
    • Dinner from 5 pm to 10 pm (kitchen closes at 9 pm).

  • Hotel: May to September. Our booking calendar for 2023 is already open.

When you’re coming to stay at the hotel, dinner is always served for our hotel guests, even if restaurant is not open for public.

Private occasions

Special get-togethers call for special surroundings. Fortunately, we have those in place. Our restaurant offers the perfect space to enjoy family reunion, celebration, business events or wellness retreats. Our restaurant can host up to 45 guests and hotel 14 people in shared double rooms.
